Lady of the Lake.  The very name of the quilt block tells the story.  Since I spend my summers at the lake, I guess that's who I am too, a lady of the lake.  This quilt depicts those endearing images of cottage life -- loons, campfires, canoes -- as well as some wildlife I would prefer to only view from a distance!

There's something so special about the lake.  It seems to be one of the few places where I can slow down, feel at peace, and just be still.
