I am pleased to announce the publication of my first book - Sewflakes by C&T Publishing.

Sewflakes is a book about papercut appliqué, a technique that I have been exploring for the past few years. Similar to making paper snowflakes, the blocks are designed by folding and cutting paper. What makes sewflakes unique is the use of a recognizable image as the foundation of the design.

Sewflakes includes both technique and patterns. Complete instructions for designing sewflakes are presented along with a variety of approaches for completing the appliqué. A selection of quilt patterns is also provided to get you started.
