Flourish on the Vine was chosen as the 2013 CQA Best of Show! I receive a lot of questions about this quilt, so I thought I would share some of the more common ones with you here.

My entry into the 2012 IQA Silent Auction is called Compact Four Corner Flourish because it is based on four corner motifs from the IQA Founders’ Award-winning quilt Flourish on the Vine.

The winners of the IQA judged show “Quilts: A World of Beauty” were announced on Tuesday evening, November 1st, 2011 at International Quilt Festival in Houston TX. Here are the results for my quilt Flourish on the Vine.

My entry into the 2011 IQA Silent Auction is called Flourish Within. It is a reproduction of the center motif in the larger quilt Flourish on the Vine – a finalist in the 2011 IQA judged show Quilts: A World of Beauty.

World Quilt Show XIV debuted in Manchester NH, August 19 – 22, 2010. I happened to be on vacation in Boston MA at the time, a mere one hour drive away! Here is a summary of the show, highlighting the six Canadian award-winning quilts.

Quilt Canada is over but the good memories still linger. I spent the final four days of the conference volunteering as the classroom assistant for Sue Nickels.
