The winners of the IQA judged show “Quilts: A World of Beauty” were announced on Tuesday evening, November 1st, 2011 at International Quilt Festival in Houston TX. Here are the results for my quilt Flourish on the Vine.

My entry into the 2011 IQA Silent Auction is called Flourish Within. It is a reproduction of the center motif in the larger quilt Flourish on the Vine – a finalist in the 2011 IQA judged show Quilts: A World of Beauty.

Quilt Canada 2012 will take place in Halifax NS from May 29 to June 2, 2012. On-line registration opens this Saturday, October 1st so read on to learn more about this biennial national quilting conference.

World Quilt Show XIV debuted in Manchester NH, August 19 – 22, 2010. I happened to be on vacation in Boston MA at the time, a mere one hour drive away! Here is a summary of the show, highlighting the six Canadian award-winning quilts.
