Welcome to the Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 7 blog tour. My block “Capstone” was inspired by the center medallion in my quilt Flourish on the Vine.

What a thrill to see my Spring Snowflake block featured once again in the quilt Snow Blossoms and on the cover of Quilts from Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Spring 2013 issue.

The first issue of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks was released in November 2009 and sold out within months. The reprinted issue goes on sale January 8, 2013. I was honored that my block Spring Snowflake was chosen for this magazine.

Flourish of Fruit is an oval wreath made from two of the same swags that were used in the borders of Flourish on the Vine.
