Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Special Issue

My block is called Spring Snowflake. It was designed using papercut appliqué, as described in my book Sewflakes. Similar to making paper snowflakes, the blocks are designed by folding and cutting paper. What makes sewflakes unique is the use of a recognizable image as the foundation of the design.
